List of some suggestions in place of homework:

Wrap up well and go for a walk

Bring your dog for a walk (If you have one!)

Go to the beach and play in the sand and be sure to wrap up well!

Make healthy soup together

Bake something nice together

Visit or phone an elderly relative

Visit or phone an elderly neighbour

Play a family game together

Do some art for example, make a card for someone

Sing a song together

Read a festive story together

Go to something festive in the local library – if possible!

Listen to happy music

Play cards

Play outside

Build a bird feeder together

Feed the birds and watch

Get cosy and watch a film together

Practise kindness towards family and neighbours
